A double crack

Visit the special location performance ZWEEP (WHIP) by Schweigman & Ferragutti. Four people let their whips crack almost gracefully. It's the spectacle of a dangerously raging whip, alternating with a sensitive, vulnerable attemp to get in touch. Boukje Schweigman and Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti travelled to China to train together with the monks. They were inspired by Chi kung, Kung fu and the use of the whip as a weapon. Their journey resulted in a musical and rhythmic performance about courage and the strength of your own vulnerability. ZWEEP lets us sense the time that is ticking away and the inevitability of
our existence.

Saturday, 3 September, 2011, at 11 pm, there will be a stand alone performance of ZWEEP at the Atrium. Admission is free for holders of the Museum Night passe-partout. However, there is a limited number of seats available. Too late? There are two alternatives: Saturday, 3 September, 2011, at 7 pm, and Sunday, 4 September at 5 pm at the Korzo Theater (which is not open during the Museum Night). Entrance fee: 10 Euros.
